New Delhi: The Public Service Commission is organizing two-weeks Induction training at Indian Institute of Public Administration for new recruits of CTA from 16th to 27th Dec. 2019. A total number of 23 budding officials, holding ranks of section officer, office superintendent, Office Assistant, Senior Clerk and Junior Clerk are attending the training. The inaugural programme commenced on 16th December at 10:00 am at IIPA. The programme was presided over by Mr Amitabh Ranjan, Registrar of IIPA, Dr. Surabhi Pandey, Program Director and Mr Wangdu Tsering Pesur, Chairman of PSC, CTA.
At the outset, Dr. Surabhi Pandey welcomed the participants and emphasised on the objective of the training programme that is to develop leadership with regards to the various organizational behavior aspects, to foster decision making capabilities and enhance overall performance of an organization. She then introduced and explained the training module & subjects to be taught for the two-weeks.
The following are the important areas to be covered during the programme: Etiquette in meeting &communication (with special reference to body language), Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Emotional Intelligence, Change Management, Time Management, Language Proficiency, Presentation Skills, Problem Solving Techniques, Planning & Organising Conferences and Events, Team Synergy at Workplace, Total Quality Person, Self Awareness: Interpersonal Style, Innovation and Creativity, etc.
Mr Amitabh Ranjan, the Registrar, addressed the gathering and welcomed PSC Chairman; he also expressed happiness with reference to the many decades of association/alliance between IIPA and CTA. Mr Ranjan concluded his speech with a hope for the new recruits to become perfect bureaucrats as a take away from the training. Thereafter, he presented a souvenir (Indian tricolour scarf) to PSC Chairman as a token of appreciation.
PSC Chairman, Mr Wangdu Tsering Pesur addressed the inaugural program with regards to IIPA and thanked the faculty for conducting such a significant program for the new recruits of CTA.
He urged the participants to learn the fact & unlearn the falsehood, analyse, brush-up their knowledge during their training from the eminent speakers. The Chairman also expressed gratitude towards USAID & Tibet Fund: under the program of TSRR, for funding the first ever induction training at IIPA for the new recruits of CTA.
