From Dekyiling Settlement, educated at TCV School, and a graduate of Loyola College with a B.Com, he began as an accountant at the staff mess (CTA) for 1.5 years. Later, he worked at Orient Foundation (Dehradun) before an MBA and 11 months in stock market investments at Aditya Birla Mutual Fund. He served as an accountant at ANEC for 2 years and volunteered as SARD’s accountant before becoming an M&E officer in 2021.
