Gender Advisory, Training & Monitoring Support

This project aims to integrate gender equity into the core of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA)’s governance, programming, and community services. By providing technical gender advisory, targeted training, and continuous monitoring support, the initiative strengthens both institutional capacity and community-level gender responsiveness.

Impact (2017 - 2024)

The GBV Prevention and Response Program strengthened gender sensitivity across CTA by building internal capacity, developing action plans, and conducting gender sensitization workshops. Since 2017, 3,986 individuals—including CTA staff, community members, and students—have been trained, promoting greater awareness and institutional commitment to gender equity.

The pie charts show gender-wise participation in SEA training and awareness of protection issues among parents, staff, and students.
